Looking at the entire story arc (volumes 1 to 11)… It’s a story arc. Sure, bits get left dangling at the end, but it actually goes places. Padded gloves? A world built of happy endings? as if - check the genre if you don’t believe me. That said, every shadow needs a light allow it to exist and a shape to give it form - This tale knows what it’s doing. The story goes places. Places to make you think. Things worth thinking on. The kinds of things that too many stories omit or forget about completely, but are essential to stories. Totally worth the read.
